Lucknow: Another fake ‘Anamika Shukla’ was arrested by the Ambedkar Nagar police from Mainpuri district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
The woman, identified as Anita was arrested late at night and presented in the court today.
Anita was working as a full-time teacher in Kasturba Gandhi Residential School.
ETV Bharat talked to Anita, she said: "I met Pushpendra one year ago, during that time, I was searching for a job. He helped me in providing forged documents in the name of Anamika Shukla. Since, then I'm working in Kasturba Gandhi Residential School, Ambedkar Nagar for a year."
"My husband died a few years ago, I have a four-year-old child to raise. All these circumstances made me do so," she said.
I'm not getting a salary for a month now, my salary is 10,000 monthly, she added.
Earlier, on June 7, an FIR has been lodged against a teacher, Anamika Shukla, who had allegedly withdrawn over Rs 1 crore in salary for a year from 25 different schools.
