Elderly man found dead in Aligarh village

An elder person, who lived on the fields near his village in Aligarh, was found dead in his room. Police have registered a case and sent the body for postmortem.

Aligarh: A body of an elderly person was found from his room built on the fields near Tranchi village in the district, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Takechand (75). He had been living in the fields ever since he retired from the state electricity department.

Family members noticed his body lying in the room and informed the police, the police said, adding that the the body was sent for postmortem after registering a case.

Further probe is underway.
