Eight dead bodies found in Ganga River in Varanasi

The search for dead bodies in the River Ganga in Uttar Pradesh continues. After Buxar, Ghazipur and Chandauli, 8 more bodies are found at Rajghat in Ramnagar, Benaras on Thursday.

Varanasi: The process of looking out for the dead bodies in the River Ganga in Uttar Pradesh continues. After Buxar, Ghazipur and Chandauli, 8 more bodies are found at Rajghat in Ramnagar, Benaras on Thursday. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Ramnagar Police Station in-charge and Sub-Divisional Magistrate reached the spot.

The bodies were taken out with the help of divers. After extracting the bodies, the bodies were buried by digging a pit with the help of an earthmover at the ghat.

Javed, who extracted the dead bodies, said that he has removed four bodies, the rest is yet to be found. After burying the unclaimed dead bodies, the administrative officials shied away from talking to the media.
