Raxaul: Weeks before the first phase of Bihar assembly elections, over 22 kilogram of gold and 2 kilogram of silver has been recovered from the house of the brother of BJP's candidate from Raxaul Pramod Sinha in Nepal's Birgunj by the Nepal police.
Official sources said the Nepal police raided the house of Ashok Sinha after a tip-off and found the illegal stock of gold and silver, worth crores of rupees.
According to the sources, Ashok Sinha works with the Indian Customs department in Nepal and he has been living in Nepal for years.
Further probe is on, the sources added.
