15-year-old rape victim commits suicide in UP's Bijnor

A teenage girl in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district hanged herself from the ceiling of her room, a day after she was allegedly raped by two men of her village. The police have filed a case and the matter is being investigated.

Bijnor (UP): A 15-year-old girl hanged herself from the ceiling of her room in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district on Tuesday, a day after she was allegedly raped by two men of her village.

Her mother alleged that the girl was raped on Monday and she narrated the incident to her sister on Tuesday morning and later hanged herself, police said.

Circle Officer Mahesh Kumar said that the victim's family has filed the complaint against two men of the village.

He further said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated.

Intro:एंकर। एक गांव में सामूहिक दुष्कर्म की पीड़ित किशोरी ने फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। पीड़िता की बहन की तरफ से आरोपी दो युवकों के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई गई है। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ दुष्कर्म का माँमला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू करदी है।

Body:वीओ।दरअसल बिजनौर के थाना अफजलगढ़ क्षेत्र के गांव चकफेरी में गांव में रहने वाली 14 वर्षीय लड़की ने परिजनों की गैर मौजूदगी में दीवार के हुक में दुपट्टे के सहारे फंदा डालकर आत्महत्या कर ली। फांसी लगाने से 30 मिनट पहले ही पीड़िता ने अपनी बड़ी बहन को कॉल करके बताया कि उसके साथ गांव के ही दो युवकों ने सामूहिक दुष्कर्म किया।जिस कारण वह आत्महत्या कर रही है। इतना कहते ही पीड़िता ने फोन कॉल काट दी। बड़ी बहन पति के साथ मायके में आई। तब तक पीड़िता की मां भी खेत से घर आ गई। कमरे में उन्हें पीड़िता का शव लटका मिला।

बाईट:- महेश कुमार, सीओ अफजलगढ़Conclusion:सूचना देने पर कुछ देर बाद पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी पुलिस बल के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे। सीओ महेश कुमार ने बताया कि आरोपी युवक भूरी और डेविड के खिलाफ सामूहिक दुष्कर्म और आत्महत्या के लिए मजबूर करने के आरोप में रिपोर्ट दर्ज कर ली गई है। आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए दबिश दी जा रही हैं।
