Amroha: A tractor trolley, ferrying around 12 villagers, collided with a speeding tanker truck in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district on Wednesday.
The accident took place at Amroha's Dhanora Gajraula marg near Gajraula police station.
The injured were taken to the nearest government hospital immediately, while two of them, who were in a critical condition were taken to another hospital.
The villagers were on their way to perform the last rites of a family member who died due to some prolonged illness.
The family and relatives of deceased Sher Singh were going to Ganga Dham Tigri in a tractor-trolley when a speeding tanker hit from behind.
The driver of the tanker is absconding.
Meanwhile, Sher Singh's body for cremation was taken to Tigri in another vehicle.
