Telangana: In a video that has gone viral, a man can be seen struggling to swim ashore as the water level at the Shivalayam ghat in Telangana's Nagarjuna Sagar rises.
The man has been missing since. He has been identified as Narasimha. The man was on a visit to Nagarjuna Sagar - a popular tourist destination in Telangana - along with his friends.
Tourist goes missing while taking dip at Shivalayam ghat in Nagarjuna Sagar
Narasimha, an electrical mechanic by profession, was taking a dip at the Shivalayam ghat, when the canal gates of Nagarjuna Sagar dam were opened releasing heavy flow of water into the ghat.

The sudden rise in the water level carried the Narasimha far away from the shore as onlookers tried to help him.
