Three die in car crash in Telangana's Siddipet

Three people travelling to Hyderabad died on Thursday when their car hit a mixer truck, however, the driver of the car survived but was severely injured. The accident took place at Pragyapur in Gajwel zone of Siddipet district.

Hyderabad: A car accident in a remote part of Telangana's Siddipet district claimed three lives while one was severely injured, an official said on Thursday.

"The accident took place at Pragyapur in Gajwel zone of Siddipet district. There were three people travelling to Hyderabad for some work at one of the private hospitals. Unfortunately their car collided with a mixer truck and three persons died on the spot while the driver was rushed to the hospital," a cop said.

According to the reports, the mortal remains were sent to a nearby government hospital for post-mortem. Further, the driver is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad, police said.
