Khammam municipal officials face flak after shooting TikTok videos in office

In a video that has gone viral on TikTok, two municipal officials, including a man and a woman from Khammam district of Telangana, can be seen crooning to romantic filmy tracks. The District Collector has taken notice of the video and has said that he will be issuing a memo to the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation seeking an explanation.

Khammam (Telangana): Two municipal officials from Khammam district of Telangana are facing flak for shooting a TikTok video while on duty and uploading it on the popular video-sharing application.

In the video, that has gone viral, the two officials including a man and a woman can be seen crooning to romantic filmy tracks.

Condemning the act of the officials, Khammam collector RV Karnan said, "We came to know about this from news channels. I will be issuing a memo to the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, shortly, seeking an explanation."

He added the commissioner will be given five to seven days to respond.

"When we get an appropriate reply from him, we shall initiate disciplinary action against the officials involved," he said.
