Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here has initiated modern camera technologies to resume air travel in the safest way, informed, Shamshabad Airport CEO, Kishore on Saturday.
Speaking to media persons, Kishore said, " The modern cameras will be installed at the airport in 2-3 weeks. Through these cameras, the passenger's identity cards and tickets will be examined. Every traveller is required to present travel documents in front of the camera. Passengers would be automatically processed at checkpoints such as entry point check, the entry into Security Check, aircraft boarding based on facial recognition system."
"A contactless terminal entry system has been put in place to avoid any contact between CISF personnel and passengers. The CISF would conduct temperature screening with automated thermal cameras. Social distancing markers and hand sanitisers have also been provided. Security personnel involved in passenger screening would have to wear Hazmat suits.," Kishore said.
