Hyderabad: The Directorate of Revenue (DRI) officials seized over 356 kg of cannabis worth Rs 71, 38,000 lakhs from the outskirts of Hyderabad near Isnapur on July 2.
"The heavy goods carriage vehicle travelling towards Maharashtra at Bombay highway was intercepted by Hyderabad Zonal Unit," DRI official said.
The officials noticed a specially designed cavity behind driver's chamber in which the Ganja was concealed.
On verification of the chamber, 156 pakects of ganja weighing 356.9 kg was seized.
The contraband and lorry was seized while further investigation is in progress.
