Hyderabad: Telangana state's festival 'Saddula Bathukamma' will get international recognition. Oscar awardee and renowned music director AR Rahman composed the music for the Bathukamma song while director Gautham Vasudev Menon directed it. This song will represent the spirituality and culture of the Telangana state.
Telangana state's festival 'Saddula Bathukamma' is very famous in Telangana. 'Bathukamma' means 'Mother Goddess' come alive and the festival represents the cultural spirit of Telangana. At this festival, Telangana women will prepare 'Bathukamma' with different flowers and celebrate the 'Bathukamma' festival by singing Goddess Gowri songs and folks songs, which represent the Telangana culture. These songs are to invoke the blessings of Goddesses.
In recent times every year, many music companies and YouTube channels are producing 'Bathukamma' songs that represent the Telangana culture, lifestyle, the power of women and Goddess Parvathi. So many Bathukamma songs were composed till now in which some songs have become very famous.
A prominent singer has sung this song whom we will know after the release of the song. The song's video was shot at Bhoodan Pochampally village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. As the 'Bathukamma' festival will start on October 6 this song will be released before that. There is a chance of remaking this song into other languages too.
