Chennai: The President of South Indian Film Producers Association, Sujatha Vijaya Kumar and Congress Secretary Kushboo on Wednesday met Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi Palaniswamy and thanked him for allowing the shooting of TV serials in the state.
According to reports, Sujatha Vijayakumar and Kushboo went to CM Palaniswamy's office and thanked him for allowing the TV serials shooting and more people on the shooting sets.
Reportedly, Chief Minister K Palaniswami had earlier allowed filming of TV serials on May 21 with a maximum of 20 actors and technicians but said the industry had pleaded to enhance the number.
Heeding cine industry's request, a maximum of 60 actors and technicians were allowed to be employed for the serial and film shoots from May 31.
