Chennai: AIADMK Presidium Chairman E Madhusudhanan was admitted to Apollo Hospital a few days ago after he suffered from a breathing issue. He is being treated in the ICU. Former Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami came to the hospital to inquire about his health today. Surprisingly, expelled former General Secretary of AIADMK V.K. Sasikala too visited Apollo Hospital at the same time to see the veteran AIADMK leader.

However, Palaniswami came out of the hospital just 5 minutes before Sasikala entered. He also exited the hospital from a different gate before she arrived inside the hospital. Sasikala also stayed for nearly 5 minutes in the hospital. Despite coming to the hospital at the same time, they avoided running into each other as the entry and exit gates are located on different sides.

After the meeting with Madhusudhanan, she interacted with the reporters and said, "I came to see the senior leader of the party, Madhusudanan and inquired about his health and interacted with his family about him. I prayed for his speedy recovery. I also spoke to doctors about the current treatment plan for him", she added. Earlier, Sasikala entered the hospital in a car with the AIADMK flag hoisted, which created a ruckus among the party members.
