Red alert in Chennai airport following bomb scare

New Delhi: A red alert has been isssued at the Chennai airport, after the Delhi airport warned the airport authorities of a possible a bomb threat early on Friday.

According to reports, a red alert has been issued and security has been intensified in the area.

A phone call was received at the New Delhi airport police Control room that a woman passenger enroute to Saudi Arabia was carrying an explosive substance, the officials said.
