Seeman today wrote to Aparna Purohit, Head of Indian Originals at Amazon Prime Video, seeking a ban on The Family Man web series.
He accused the series of intentionally maligning the Tamil race and wrongly portraying Sri Lankan Tamils as terrorists and extremists.
In his detailed statement, Seeman accused the makers saying that, "vulgar depiction of Thamizhs in the web series in concern, whose valorous Thamizh Eezham freedom struggle has been portrayed cheaply, intending to tarnish Thamizhs’ image. The web series sounds like the voice of the Sinhala government,” he said.
He also warned that if the maker doesn't stop the streaming Tamil people all over the world may have to lead a massive campaign to boycott all amazon Services, including Prime Video.
