Tirunelveli: Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) Party Chief Kamal Hassan claims that a third front will be seen in Tamil Nadu Assembly election, which is scheduled in 2021. He met his party workers during the campaign trail in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday.
While addressing media he said, "If elected to power, MNM will make corruption free Tamil Nadu by forming a corruption Free government. There will be a third front in the Assembly Election. MNM will form an alliance with the good ones. Just because I am talking about Rajinikanth it doesn't mean that I am going towards spiritual politics. I have the right to claim that I am the extension of MGR's legacy. He is common to every party. I had been very close to him since my childhood."
Reportedly, MNM party's chief ministerial candidate will be announced later.
He also said that he will later decide upon contesting in the polls.
He further added that those who came to power by speaking Tamil forgot Tamil after coming to power. Tamil is the sweetest language but Hindi is wonderful too, he further added.
When asked about his alliance with Rajinikanth, he said that it is not the suitable time to comment on it.
According to him, there are two types of politics currently, one is revenge politics and the other is blaming politics. He wishes to follow the path of guidance politics.
He also claimed that if his party comes to power there will be transparency in government and tender allotments.
