Food has no religion: TN hotel owner shuts down bigotry

Chennai (Tamil Nadu): Two days after food delivery company Zomato won the internet after shutting down a customer in Madhya Pradesh over an insensitive tweet regarding a Muslim delivery executive, a restaurant owner from Tamil Nadu has decided to call out religious bigotry through a message for his customers.

Arun Mozhi, owner of Pudukkottai's Ayngaran Coffee, came across Zomato's tweet that said "Food doesn't have a religion. It is a religion."

The very next day, he put out a board which reads, "We don't provide food for people who see religion". His message caught the attention of people in Pudukkottai, who showered praise on him.

Customers who came across this laudable initiative of Arun Mozhi asked every restaurant to follow the same and spread positivity.

Days after Zomato set the internet on fire with its Food is Religion Tweet, this a restaurateur in TN has sent a clear message against religious biogtry to his customers.



Arunmozhi and Usharani , owners of Ayangaran Coffe, inspired by Zomato's tweet have put out a board infront of the restaurant that reads, "No food for those see religion. Food has no Religion. Ayangaran Coffee shuts down Bigot." 



"Eveyone is equal in the world. Zomato reply was befitting. The boards who have put out reflect's their message. I am of the view that, the board will make religious discriminators guilty " said Usharani. 



The intiative have garnered allocades from many.
