Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu): A woman was arrested for allegedly attacked and wounded her mother-in-law following an argument at Pollachi in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore district.
The 62-year-old Nageshwari who is a resident of Min Nagar at Pollachi - Udumalai road, was allegedly bitten on her head by her daughter-in-law Kalpana on December 14 when the former stood near to her home, said police.
Following the incident Nageshwari got injured and rushed to the hospital, police said by adding that, about 6 stitches were placed on her head.
Nageshwari's son Saravankumar has been living in an unhappy marriage with Kalpana for 13 years.

Sometimes the conflict between Saravankumar and Kalpana got worse that force the former to go to his mother's place. This is the reason behind the continuous tussle between Nageshwari and her daughter-in-law Kalpana.
Earlier this year, another big fight occurred between the two.
Meanwhile, a case has been filed against the accused in the Mahalingapuram Police Station in Pollachi.
