Bhopalgarh: A farmer has allegedly committed suicide as he was unable to repay the bank loan that he had taken, police said. Brother of the deceased has filed a police complaint against the bank official who allegedly forced the farmer to take the extreme step of ending his life.
Police said Joginder Singh, who was under pressure to repay the loan, killed himself by jumping into a river near Chanrakh village.
Joginder Singh took Rs 3 lakh five year ago but he was not able to pay it back and the bank was pressuring him to repay, which led to the tragic end, the police added. Further probe is on.
