Nagaur (Rajasthan): Around 300 migrant workers from India, who are currently stranded in Qatar, alleged that they have not been paid their salary for the past three months, and were trapped in their employer's camp.
Around 800 Indians, many of whom are from Rajasthan, who work at CDC Qatar, have been put up in three camps in Doha.
However, workers allege that while those in two camps are getting their salary and proper food, those in the third camp are suffering without pay and proper meals.
Vikram Singh, a native of Nagaur, said that the 300 workers in his camp have not received their salary for the past three months and were also not being allowed to step out to seek help.
"From March 13 to June 16, we haven't received our salary. We are not even being provided with proper food," he said.

"Besides, we are not being allowed to step out of the camp to approach the labour court, local police, or even the Indian embassy," he added.
With no other option, the workers have taken the help of social media to appeal to the respective Lok Sabha MPs and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to come to their aid.
"We are suffering. There is no one to listen to us. We have been forcibly kept shut here. We request the External Affairs Minister to help us," said Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Jhunjhunu.
