Rajasthan political crisis deepens with new twists and turns

Amid political turmoil in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has written an open letter to all the MLAs of Rajasthan urging the legislators to pay heed to the voice of the public and work towards saving democracy. He also issued a statement saying - the government will have a decisive victory on August 11 and 14.

Jaipur: The ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan is constantly deepening. There are new bends and twists in state politics each day.

The battle to gain supremacy, which arose among the top leadership of the state Congress, has now become the battle of the party itself.

On the one hand, former Deputy Chief Minister and former PCC Chief Sachin Pilot is calmly observing the situations whereas on the other hand there is a continuous change in the behaviour of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

In the midst of this political crisis, Gehlot is constantly targeting the BJP. He has been continuously blaming BJP for ongoing political drama in the state.

At the same time, the fate of the 6 MLAs who defected from BSP to join Congress is to be determined soon.

First, Congress had limited the access to its MLAs and now the BJP is also following its footsteps.

Many BJP MLAs have been recently packed off to Gujarat.

CM Gehlot issued a statement saying - the government will have a decisive victory on August 11 and 14.

Gehlot reached Jaisalmer from Jaipur on Sunday

During this visit, CM Gehlot took a dig at the chief opposition party BJP for restricting access to its MLAs.

He said that now BJP's lies are exposed. He also said that the phone recording was also part of this larger conspiracy.

PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara targeted the BJP fiercely. After the plantation program at the Home Guard Ground in Jaisalmer, the PCC Chief criticised the shifting of the BJP MLAs from Rajasthan furiously.

The Deputy Leader of the Opposition Rajendra Rathore is still trying to convince Congress MLA Rajendra Gudha to leave the Congress camp. Rathore said, in a statement, that the fort of Congress is now crumbling; hence it would be beneficial for Gudha to desert it well in time.
