Rajasthan BJP legislature party meeting underway in Jaipur

After the Rajasthan BJP legislature party meeting was postponed on Tuesday, it is underway in Jaipur. The meeting marks many party members along with the Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar in attendance.

Jaipur: The BJP legislature party meeting is underway at the party headquarters in Jaipur with former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP national vice-president and state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna and BJP state president Satish Poonia in attendance.

The meeting comes ahead of the Rajasthan Assembly Session starting from August 14 and was supposed to be held on Tuesday but was postponed.

Before leaving for the meeting, Tomar spoke to the media

This comes after the political turmoil in Rajasthan came to an end with the former Rajasthan deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot mending his ways with the Congress.

Earlier, CM Ashok Gehlot had said that the coronavirus situation and the financial conditions due to lockdown will be discussed in the state Assembly Session.
