Mob attacked Police while enforcing lockdown in Dholpur

A mob of more than 12 people attacked a police team when the police told them to go to their homes and follow the lockdown rules. The attack took place when the police raided the area after receiving a tip-off that a tobacco shop is open during the lockdown.

Dholpur: A police team was attacked by a mob in Baadi area of Dholpur in Rajasthan while trying to enforce lockdown on Sunday.

The attack took place when the police raided the area after receiving a tip-off that a tobacco shop is open during the lockdown.

More than 12 people were sitting at the tobacco shop who attacked police when they ask them to go home due to lockdown.

Two policemen got injured in this incident and the rest of the officials left the place to save their lives.

Later, when the information was given to the local police station, a large number of policemen reached the spot.

But till the time police reached the spot, the accused fled from the place but police claimed that four people have been detained.

Police said that a search is on to arrest remaining accused.
