Pali (Rajasthan): Armed robbers allegedly looted jewelry worth 50 lakh rupees and cash of 2 lakh rupees from a jewelry shop owner at gunpoint in Rajasthan's Pali.
The miscreants also broke the mobile phone and destroyed the CCTV footage of the shop.
After getting the information, SHO, Kotwali police station, along with a team reached the spot and started the investigation into the matter. The police have registered a case under various Sections of the IPC against the unidentified persons.
Protesting farmers set up path for emergency services
The shopkeeper Kishan Lal Soni, owner of Mata Rani jewelers had taken orders from customers amid the wedding season.
On Saturday evening, as soon as he opened the shop, three unidentified youth showed up at his shop and demanded gold. However, as the shopkeeper denied and went inside, the accused took out a pistol.
The miscreants sealed his mouth with the tape and fled with the jewelry and cash.
