Udaipur: A man has been arrested for allegedly raping his own seven-year-old daughter, police said.
It said a complaint was made by the accused's wife, who along with their daughter was living with her parents because of a quarrel with her husband.
The man visited his in-laws where his wife and daughter were staying for the past one month. He then took his daughter along and came back during the night to leave the child with her mother again.
As the girl met her mother, she started crying and the matter came to light.
The girl's mother then filed a rape complaint against the father of the child.
Meanwhile, the victim is being treated at a hospital for her injuries and the police are probing the case.
