Man, his brother's widow commits suicide in Rajasthan's Dausa

A man and his brother's widow committed suicide by hanging themselves from the ceiling in separate rooms of their house in Rajasthan's Dausa. The primary probe revealed that they were in a relationship and took the extreme step after facing opposition from the family over their marriage.

Jaipur (Rajasthan): A man and the widow of his brother allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in separate rooms of their house in Dausa district of Rajasthan, police said on Monday.

Preliminary investigation revealed that they were in a relationship and wanted to get married but faced opposition from the family, police said.

Harkesh (22) and Ganna (25) were found hanging in separate rooms on Monday morning.

Ganna was having a child with Harkesh's brother who died sometime back.

The incident took place in Lawan police station limits of the district.

After the post-mortem, the bodies were handed over to family members.
