Jaipur: A 16-year old girl has accused her father of raping her, following which the accused was arrested in Rajasthan's Nagaur district, police said on Friday.
The victim lodged an FIR at Mahila police station on Thursday night.
"The girl alleged that her father had been raping her for the last five years. He also tried to rape her on Thursday night at home but she managed to escape and lodged the FIR," the police said.
The accused, who is a farmer, was arrested on Friday and the medical examination of the victim was conducted.
