Lakshmi Mittal to set up solar park in Rajasthan, meets CM Gehlot

Noted industrialist Laxmi Niwas Mittal wants to set up a solar park of 4,500 MW capacity in Rajasthan. In connection with the investment in solar energy, he came to Jaipur on Sunday and met Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur: Noted industrialist Laxmi Niwas Mittal wants to set up a solar park of 4,500 MW capacity in Rajasthan. In connection with the investment in solar energy, he came to Jaipur on Sunday and met Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. During this meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of Renewable Energy and CMD of Renewable Energy Corporation, Subodh Kumar Gupta, Industries Department Secretary Ashutosh Pednekar, and Special Secretary Amit Dhaka were also present.

During the meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence, industrialist Laxmi Niwas Mittal expressed his intention to set up a solar park in Rajasthan through his company HMEL (HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited). The state government assured Laxmi Niwas Mittal that amidst the immense possibilities of investment in the field of solar energy in Rajasthan, the policies of the government are also going to promote investment so that more and more companies can come and invest in this sector in Rajasthan.
