Bhilwara: The family members of a newly-married couple were quarantined after the groom and his 13 family members were tested positive for coronavirus in Bhadada Bhag of Rajasthan.
The state government has only permitted a total of 50 people at weddings. However, on probing it was found that the more than 60 people attended the wedding.
District Collector Rajendra Bhatt has issued a notice that strict actions will be taken against any person for violating social distancing norms during marriage-related function.
He also ordered sub-divisonal officers to keep checking that the government guidelines are followed during weddings organised in their area.
