Earthquake tremors felt in Rajasthan's Udaipur; no loss of live reported

A medium-intensity earthquake of magnitude 3.16 occurred in Rajasthan's Udaipur district on Monday afternoon, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. However, no loss of life and damage of property was reported.

Udaipur (Rajasthan): An earthquake of magnitude 3.16 on the Richter Scale jolted Rajasthan at around 3:30 pm on Monday.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt in various parts of the town including Ambamata, Surajpol, Delhi gate, and Chandpol areas. As per latest reports, no damage to life and property was reported in the town.

When asked the National Center for Seismology about the epicentre, they said the organisation will announce the epicentre shortly.
