Bharatpur: A doctor couple was shot dead in their car in broad daylight on Friday by unknown bikers in Rajasthan's Bharatpur.
The incident took place at Kali Bagchi area and the victims have been identified as Dr. Sudeep Gupta and his wife Dr. Seema Gupta.

Bharatpur City Circle Officer Satish Verma said that Shri Ram Hospital Director and his wife were heading towards Hiradas in their car at around 4.30 pm when two bike-borne miscreants attacked them and fled the spot.
Sudeep Gupta was shot in the head while his wife was shot in the chest.
Both were declared brought dead at RBM District Hospital.
Police and dog squad reached the spot and collected evidence from the crime scene.

A case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the accused.
The attack is being linked to the 2019 incident which took place in Surya City on November 7.
According to the case, Dr. Seema Gupta and her mother-in-law set ablaze Dr. Sudeep's rumoured girlfriend and her 6-year-old son in their house.
