Dungarpur: The building of the District Education Office here is in a dilapidated condition with cracks in the walls and plaster falling from the roof.
Built-in 1992, the structure is in need of repair as cracks have appeared at many places in the walls and plaster of the walls and the roof keeps falling every now and then. On Friday, several huge pieces of plaster fell from the roof of the corridor while the officials were working in their respective rooms. It was good that nobody got hurt in the incident.
After the incident, PWD officials came inspecting the building but there has been no word from the authority concerned on repairing the building, which houses an important office of the state government.
