Pali: Critically ill woman dies on a stretcher in Bangur Hospital

A critically ill woman has passed away on a stretcher while waiting for treatment in Bangur Hospital on Sunday afternoon. In a shocking case of negligence by the hospital management, the critically ill woman was left unattended despite her deteriorating conditions.

Pali: A critically ill woman has passed away on a stretcher while waiting for treatment in Bangur Hospital on Sunday afternoon. In a shocking case of negligence by the hospital management, the critically ill woman was left unattended despite her deteriorating conditions.

According to information, Manju Devi Suthar was brought to Bangur Hospital on Sunday afternoon by her family after she complained of chest pain and breathlessness. She was also admitted to the hospital and shifted to a hospital ward.

However, no doctor visited the ward to check her and even an oxygen cylinder was not provided. Despite the pleading family members and repeated reminders, she was not provided with any treatments or oxygen support and passed away just after 10 minutes.

The family members of the deceased created a ruckus inside the hospital's OPD, following which doctors came to check the patient and declared her dead. The family members have accused the hospital staff of serious negligence and ignoring the critically ill woman. They have alleged that oxygen was not provided to their patient despite deteriorating conditions. They have also alleged that even the stretcher used to shift the patient to the hospital ward was broken.
