Jaipur: A Rajasthan Police officer who is hospitalised for Covid-19 treatment, has released an emotional video, appealing the general public to take proper precautions for the Covid-19. Inspector Khalil Ahmed Khilji who is undergoing treatment since 5 April, made an emotional video from his hospital bed and urged people to follow all the Covid-19 guidelines.

The emotional police inspector said that his oxygen level is hovering around 90 per cent and his lungs have lots of damage and his recovery is painfully slow.
He cautioned to not take the continuing Covid-19 situation lightly and asked the general public to take full precautions including following social distancing, regular handwashing, using masks, cleaning and sanitizing neighbourhoods and avoid eating food in a group.
Although Inspector Khilji's wife and two daughters were also admitted to the hospital with corona infection, they left the hospital after full recovery.

In 2020, over 4,000 police officials of Rajashthan Police had tested positive for Covid-19. 21 Police officials and 1 home guard jawan have died due to Corona. So far four police officials of Rajasthan have tested positive in the ongoing second phase of the crisis.
