"Farmers of Bendebembali village have organised the stone-pulling competition in which 15 quintal heavy rock is pulled by a pair of bullocks. Reacting fast to a piece of information, police have rescued a minor girl as she was being married off in Mugena village of Kota district. Family members of the groom and the bride have been booked under the relevant law.Kota: Acting on a case of child marriage, the police here rescued a 14-year-old girl, who was being married off on the basis of a fake Aadhaar card.Soon after getting the information that a minor is being married off in Mugena village of the district, police reached the spot, official sources said.On being asked for the relevant documents to ascertain the age of the girl, the family members of the girl presented an Aadhaar card which proved to be a fake one during the initial probe.
