Man arrested for passing sensitive information to Pakistan

A 38-year-old man, Imran, was arrested from Kota in connection with sending sensitive information to Pakistan. The arrested man has in contact with some Pakistani nationals and admitted to sending photographs to a Whatsapp number in Pakistan.

Kota (Rajasthan): A 38-year-old man hailing from Uttar Pradesh arrested on Saturday from Kota in connection with sending sensitive information to Pakistan.

According to the reports, Imran, the man held for spying, has been staying in Kota for the last two months and associated with a local carpenter organisation.

The officials have said that the accused was arrested for clicking photographs of the sensitive zone near Army cantonment areas and have recovered photographs from his phone.

Moreover, the officials said that the arrested man used to video call through WhatsApp and other social media platforms, which he admitted during interrogation.

"When we got the information about this man, we started to trace his call records and found some suspicious calls made to our neighbouring country", said an official.

Meanwhile, the arrested man has accepted his contact with some Pakistani nationals and also admitted sending photographs to a Whatsapp number in Pakistan.
