Bhilwara (Rajasthan): The district collector of Rajasthan's Bhilwara warned of stringent action against black-marketing of essential commodities amid nation-wide lockdown in the country.
As per reports, it has come to the administrator's notice that shopkeepers in the district are charging much more than the MRPs from the customers.
Taking note of this, the district collector appealed to shopkeepers not to overcharge the consumers taking advantage of the lockdown.
He further said that if anyone is found violating this, his goods will be seized and given to the consumer store for public distribution.
It is to be noted that the nation is under complete lockdown to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The lockdown has brought the normal life to a standstill.
