Ajmer: Condemning French President Emmanuel Macron's comments on Islam, Muslims in Ajmer's world-famous Hazrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz Dargah on Saturday demanded that he be criticized worldwide.
The Muslim members under the leadership of city Qazi, Maulana Tausif Ahmad Siddiqui handed over a memorandum for the Indian President to the District Collector requesting for the worldwide agitation.
Maulana Tausif Ahmad Siddiqui said that he and fellow Muslim members have opposed the remarks made by the French President against Hazrat Mohammad Sahab.
He added that Muslims have decided to peacefully protest against Macron.

He said that President Ram Nath Kovind should also raise the issue in United Nations Organisation (UNO) so that in future also no such disputed statement can be made against Khwaja Garib Nawaz.
Siddiqui added that world-famous Sufi saint Khwaja Garib Nawaz's dargah sends the message of peace and brotherhood to the whole world, while people from all over the country also come to this place to pray for peace, in such a scenario the President of France makes derogatory comments against Hazrat Mohammad which is being screened all over the world is unacceptable.
