Pachar said the driver of the trailer driver left the vehicle and ran away. The impact of the accident was so terrible that the car was completely damaged. Bodies of the occupants of the car were also still trapped for long hours before police evacuated bodies with the help of locals. After the accident, there was a traffic jam on the national highway.

As road construction work is being undertaken, vehicles plying in both directions are being guided on one side of the road. Because of the heavy movement of traffic, retrieving the bodies turned out to be a mammoth exercise. According to police, the deceased persons were residents of Londari Malgaon in Rajasthan.
