2 held on rape charges in Bhiwadi of Rajasthan

Bhiwadi police have arrested two people for alleged rape. It was learnt that the victim met one of the men in Manesar of Haryana and came to Bhiwadi with him.

Bhiwadi: Two people have been arrested for allegedly raping a woman here, police said.

Ram Murti Joshi, Superintendent of Police, Bhiwadi told the media that a woman got an FIR registered early morning on Wednesday that she was raped by the two men.

He said the victim and her friend, with whom she came to Bhiwadi two days ago, met in Manesar of Haryana.

"They roamed around the city on Tuesday and during the night the man forced himself on her," he said, adding that noticing the two, a shopkeeper, in whose shop they stayed, also tried to rape her.

The police official said that the police patrolling team noticed them and brought them to the police station where the woman complained against them.

The two accused have been detained and further probe into the matter is on, he said.
