New Delhi: Congress MPs from Punjab on Monday held a meeting to discuss their prospective meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
The Congress leaders met at MP Gurjit Singh Aujla's residence in the national capital.
Manish Tewari, Amar Singh, Mohd Sadiq, Gurjit Singh Aujla, Ravneet Bittu, Jasbir Singh Gill, and Santokh Chaudari were present at the meeting
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had urged Congress MPs to take up issues related to farmers and trains with the respective Union Ministers.
While the Chief Minister is likely to meet President Ram Nath Kovind on November 4 over farmer issues, the Union Ministers have not yet finalised the meeting with Punjab MPs, sources said.
