Chandigarh: Bollywood actor Anupam Kher took to Twitter on Thursday, to announce that his wife and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with Multiple myeloma- a type of blood cancer, and is undergoing treatment.
Earlier, in a press conference on Wednesday, BJP's state president Arun Sood announced that the actress is suffering from Multiple myeloma.

Upholding Veteran Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher for her prolonged absence in the Parliament, Arun clarified, "She suffered a fracture in his hand in November, after which she was treated at GMCH Hospital and at PGI for the next month. During treatment at PGI, it was found that she is suffering from a serious disease called Multiple myeloma.

He also counterattacked the opposition leader who patched the 'gumshuda' (missing) posters of Kher.

According to the sources, Kirron Kher has not been in Chandigarh for a long time, due to which opposition parties have pounced on BJP MP Kirron Kher.
