Puri: Tensions ran high in Puri district's Nathapur village under Satpada police limits today after a group of men reportedly hurled more than 20 bombs at the residents of the village.
As many as 30 houses were gutted in the bombing.
According to reports, the mob hurled the bombs at the residents of the village due to a prolonged land dispute in the 35 Mouza area. Puri Additional SP, SDPO, IIC of Brahmagiri Police Station rushed to the village after the incident.
Meanwhile, police personnel have been deployed in the area to maintain the law and order situation in the village.
