Odisha lady home guard leaves her infant at home for lockdown duty

Jharsuguda (Odisha): A lady Home Guard of Odisha's Jharsuguda district has been appreciated by netizens for her unmatched sacrifice to ensure the safety of others during the novel coronavirus crisis.

According to sources, the 28-year-old lady home guard, Chandrika Singh from Laikera Police Station of the district left her 3-month-old baby at home to carry out her duties during the lockdown.

Jharsuguda Police encourage her for dedication towards the work spirit. Jharsuguda SP Aswini Kumar Mohanty also praised her for her dedication towards the work spirit.

“One lady Home Guard named Chandrika Singh of Laikera PS has been performing her duty by leaving her 3-month-old child at home to ensure lockdown enforcement. We encourage her for dedication towards work spirit,” the SP tweeted.

Chandrika's sacrifice in this crucial situation is praiseworthy and setting an example for others.
