Balangir (Odisha): In what could be termed a birthday worth remembering for 93-year-old Gopabandhu Mishra, being treated in the ICU at KIMS COVID Hospital here, as some doctors and staffers of the healthcare facility celebrated the nonagenarian’s birthday. Admitted in Covid ICU, Balangir, Mr Mishra turned 93 yesterday. So the hospital staff groomed him and threw a surprise birthday party. He has been showing remarkable recovery. The healthcare workers not only groomed the elderly man on the occasion but also ensured the birthday vibe in the ICU with a wonderful decoration.
The District Magistrate of Balangir, Odisha too shared an image of the Gopabandhu Mishra celebrating his birthday along with the frontline workers on his Twitter handle. "Sh. Mishra admitted to KIMS ICU turned 93 years today. KIMS CH doctors & staff groomed him and celebrated his birthday today. His recovery progress has motivated us all. Praying for his quick recovery," the Balangir DM tweeted.
