Mumbai: Police officer Sachin Waze, the main accused in the Antilia and Mansukh Hiren death case, has been shifted to Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. He has been admitted in the ICU where he will soon undergo angiography and, if necessary, open-heart surgery, his lawyers said.

Sachin Waze was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhiwandi a few days ago. Waze's relatives had sought permission from the court to treat him at a private hospital as he was suffering from a heart condition in prison. Sachin Waze was admitted to a private hospital in Bhiwandi on August 31 at 4 pm for bypass surgery. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have been deployed security outside the hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
