Mumbai (Maharashtra) : Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis attended the live broadcast of the 100th episode of Prime Minister Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' monthly radio address. Arrangements were made for the live broadcast of the event in over 40 lakh venues across the country in different states and abroad including UN headquarters.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised special screenings of Mann Ki Baat at many locations. The BJP Mumbai unit arranged for screenings at over 5,000 places across 36 Assembly constituencies in Mumbai and its outskirts. Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs and BJP State leaders attended the broadcast at different places.
In his address at the 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi said the radio show has ensured he is never cut off from the people of India and it became some sort of a spiritual journey for him. Amit Shah attended the live broadcast at Vile Parle in suburban Mumbai. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal attended the broadcast at another event in Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, Piyush Goyal said that PM Modi used 'Mann Ki Baat' to involve the people effectively in the developmental process. Special live broadcasts were arranged even in jails, schools and shrines. The event was also broadcast live for famous dabbawalas (tiffin carriers) of Mumbai.
In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel attended the 100th episode of "Mann Ki Baat" and also inaugurated a photo exhibition at the Raj Bhavan. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the historic Mann Ki Baat in Karnataka where he is on an election campaign. The live broadcast was given at over 50,000 places in UP, as per sources.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off a marathon organised by the Hindustan Scouts and Guides and the Dogra Kranti Dal to celebrate the monthly broadcast. Speaking on the occasion, he said people from different walks of life have come together as part of this marathon to fight the drug menace. He lauded PM Modi has brought youth onto a single platform to pursue the common goal of nation-building.
