Shirdi Sai sansthan decides to remove extra barricades for smooth darshan

The Shirdi Sai temple management has decided to remove extra barricades to facilitate smooth darshan for the devotees. Also Sri Saisachcharit will be made available in more languages ​​as soon as possible.

Shirdi (Maharashtra): The Shirdi Sai temple management here in Maharashtra has decided to remove extra barricades to facilitate smooth darshan for the devotees. Sai Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Bhagyashree Banayat informed that a decision has been taken to remove extra barricades installed in the darshan area. Also Sri Saisachcharit will be made available in more languages ​​as soon as possible.

The devotees had been demanding to remove the glass in front of the Samadhi Temple for darshan to common devotees and for installing low height glass for easy darshan during rush hours. It should allow devotees to enter the Dwarkamai temple from the inner side and also to circumambulate the Gurusthan temple during Sai's aarti.

Locals in Shirdi met CEO Banayat regarding these issues after which the management took the said decision. Banayat also assured that other demands will be met in future. Immediately after the meeting, the glass was removed and the devotees started touching the Samadhi and having smooth darshan. The villagers have welcomed Sansthan's decision.

While VIPs could go beyond glass and have darshan, commoners have to take darshan from a distance with folded hands. Sai devotee and Shiv Sena leader Surendra Kumar Suri planned to approach the court on the issue but he was killed recently during a protest in Punjab.

Every year more than two and a half crore devotees attend Saidarbari for Sai Darshan. This year, during Diwali from October 20 to November 5, there was a huge crowd of devotees. Bhagyashree Banayat, Chief Executive Officer of the Sansthan informed, "In these fifteen days, devotees have offered Rs 17,77,53,000 cr donations to the temple."

"The temple received Rs 3,11,79,000 cr donations in Dakshina Peti, Rs 7,54,45,000 cr in donation counter, Rs 1,45,42,000 through online. Along with this, through check and DD Rs 3,03,55,000 cr, Rs 7,28,000 lakhs through money order and Rs 1,84,22,000 cr have been received through Debit and Credit cards. Apart from this, 860. 450 grams of gold, 13345. 970 grams of silver," he added. Banayat said, "Rs 24,80,000 lakhs donations in foreign currency have been received from 29 countries."
