Man bludgeons wife to death in Palghar

A Palghar resident was arrested for allegedly bludgeoning his wife to death. He hit with a wooden log and killed her instantly.

Palghar: A Palghar resident was on Friday arrested for allegedly bludgeoning his wife to death, policesaid.

Raghunath Baswat, a resident of Zadipada in Boisar,used to doubt his wife Sunita's character and this would causefrequent quarrels between the couple, an official said.

"On Thursday, he hit her with a wooden log and killedher instantly. We have charged him with murder. Further, the probe is on," the Boisar police station official said.
